Construction Management Major selected as a White House Initiative 2023 HBCU Scholar
Construction Management junior, Dariyah Pennix, was selected amongst 102 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students to participate in the White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity through Historically Black Colleges and Universities' 2023 HBCU Scholar Recognition Program. The purpose of this program is to recognize outstanding student leaders and further empower them with tools for excellence.
A native of Kentucky, Dariyah Pennix was recommended by Morgan's administration and faculty, because of her academic achievements, campus leadership, civic engagement and entrepreneurial spirit.
As part of the program, Dariyah, the only student representing Morgan State University, will attend the 2023 HBCU Week National Annual Conference, held on September 24-28, in Virginia. During the conference, Dariyah will participate in conference sessions designed to engage a spirit of innovation, leadership, and personal and professional development.
Congratulations to Dariyah Pennix!
