Barton Malow pledges $50,000 to support the Construction Management Program
On August 31, Barton Malow hosted its "Kickback with Barton Malow" event at the Center for Built Environment and Infrastructure Studies (CBEIS). Led by several Morgan alumni and leaders of the company, the event provided the students in an overview of the construction projects that were built on campus by Barton Malow.
The Barton Malow team shared valuable knowledge about the various career paths students can take in the construction field. In addition, the team provided an overview of the Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, which relates to the new Virtual Design Center, located in CBEIS 108, which will be offering BIM related courses. The team gave hands-on demonstrations, showcasing drones and virtual reality concepts used in the construction field.
In wrapping up the event, Barton Malow Vice President, Benjamin Morgan, shared that Barton Malow is pledging $50,000 over the next 5 years to support the Construction Management program and scholarships for students.
We thank Barton Malow and its team for their continued support of our program and students.
