Full-Time Undergraduate Student Insurance Enrollment

All Full-time undergraduate students (registered for 12 or more credits) are automatically enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) for the Fall 2025 - Spring 2026 Academic Year if they do not have comparable health insurance coverage and did not submit the Student Health Insurance Waiver. The University involuntary enrolls full-time undergraduate students in the SHIP through United Healthcare. The SHIP costs will automatically be charged to your student account for the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters. Full-time undergraduate students are not required to log into the Student Health Insurance Portal to enroll because their enrollment is automatic. The cost of the SHIP is charged to the student's account per semester once the student is registered for 12 credits or more.

IMPORTANT: Students enrolled in the SHIP are enrolled for the Fall 2025 - Spring 2026 Academic Year. If the student is registered for 11 credits or less during the term, the SHIP coverage with United Healthcare will terminate immediately. Once the student is successfully registered as Full-time (12 or more credits) they will be automatically re-enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan.  

The cost of the Fall 2025-Spring 2026 Student Health Insurance Plan will be released in June 2025.
