NSO Checklist
This New Student Orientation checklist provides important information necessary to set yourself up for success and make the most of your time at Morgan State. Let’s see who’s ready for college! Complete all the tasks below to ensure you are on track and be sure to review the resources available.

| Complete 2025–2026 On-Campus Housing Application |

Submit Final High School Transcript (with Date of Graduation)

| Complete and submit required health forms |

| Check your Financial Aid award/status on WebSIS. If you have not received your award letter, contact the Office of Financial Aid. |

| Pay tuition and other fees in full (or make payment plan arrangements) with the Office of the Bursar |

Classes begin on Wednesday, August 27th, here's what you need to do to be ready on day one.

| Login to Canvas and visit each of your classes at least 15 minutes prior to each class. For help with Canvas click here: www.morgan.edu/canvas4students |

| If your course has scheduled day and times(s) to meet listed on your schedule, it is a remote class and you should be prepared to attend class virtually at the scheduled times. |

| If your course is listed on your schedule as "Web" course, you should complete assignments and engage with the class as outlined by the instructor and syllabus. |

| Once your instructor has assigned a required textbook for the class, you may purchase books at morgan.bncollege.com |

| Continue to check the official Coronavirus Information & Resource page and your MSU email account for updates from your instructor and the University |
