NSO Checklist
This New Student Orientation checklist provides important information necessary to set yourself up for success and make the most of your time at Morgan State. Let’s see who’s ready for college! Complete all the tasks below to ensure you are on track and be sure to review the resources available.

Confirm your intention to attend in the Morgan State Application system.* (required) After Acceptance of Admission Offer: |
| Immediately | Set up your Morgan account and password. [required for all other steps].* (required) You will need your 8-digit student ID number provided in your acceptance letter/email. |
| Immediately | Complete the New Student Orientation Course in Canvas. Students must use their official Morgan email and password to access Canvas courses. |
| Immediately |
Complete the Housing Application. (if applicable) NOTE: The Fall 2024 Housing Application will close on May 15, 2024. The closing date may change as it is subject to residential capacity. |
| Immediately | Review 2024-2025 tuition and fees on the Office of the Bursar. Information about payment options is expected to be available by June 2024. |
| Fall: August 1st / Spring: January 2nd | Review and submit Mandatory Health Entrance Certificate and Immunization Requirements to the MSU Health Center at healthcenter@morgan.edu.* (required) |
| July 1, 2024 | Submit Final High School transcript (with Date of Graduation) to the Office of Undergraduate Admission & Recruitment. |
| July 1, 2024 | Review the Morgan Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) and take appropriate action. * (required) |
