BS in English with a minor in Spanish -Troy University

Rachel holds an MS in Post-Secondary Education with a concentration in English from Troy University, and a BS in English with a minor in Spanish also from Troy University.  Her major field of study at Morgan is British & American Lit and Literary Theory with a minor focus on Multicultural and Gender Studies. She is interested in looking at African American literature as Gothicism through a modernist lens and studies authors such as Gloria Naylor, Richard Wright, and Gayl Jones.
