Override Request Form
The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies is committed to supporting student success and academic achievement.
If you would like to register for a course but no seats are available, you may submit a request for an override. Please review the following departmental guidelines before completing the form:

Permission to enroll in a closed course is granted at the discretion of the Department Chair.

In general, overrides are reserved for:
a. graduating seniors
b. who are on track to complete their degree by the end of the semester.
Because all override decisions are discretionary, students with circumstances they believe warrant special consideration may provide an explanation in the designated section of the form.
This form is only for Philosophy (PHIL) or Religious Studies (RELG) courses.
