Student Groups

Whether it's for professional development, sharing their art and scholarship, or just camaraderie among fellow writers, scholars and community leaders, MSU students are organized under a variety of banners.

English Graduate Organization

The English Graduate Organization was founded in September 2007. Its mission is twofold: to provide academic, social, institutional, and communal support for present and incoming English students of Morgan State University and to promote informational, scholarly programming to strengthen the English program and the university's statue in the greater Baltimore area and abroad.

The undergraduate student organization for the English & Language Arts Organization.

MSU Poets

MSUPoets is designed to be an organization specifically dedicated to poetry and spoken word. Its' primary purpose is to create a safe space where people can come together and share their truths unapologetically and without feeling insecure. The secondary purpose is to provide a writing space, where students can come together and cultivate their writing and performance skills and have venues to perform and share them with others.
