Financial Need-Based Scholarships (apply here)
Empower Scholarships (Sponsored by Symetra) are aimed at supporting underserved students with financial need by providing grants that help promote educational opportunities for youth facing systemic barriers to higher education. Provides a renewable four-year award of up to $5,000 per year for those planning a career in Actuarial Science.
Scholarship (Sponsored by The Standard) is aimed at supporting underserved students with financial need. The Standard’s purpose is to help people achieve financial well-being and peace of mind. Caring about people is a core value at The Standard. The Standard strives to create a welcoming environment where everyone can bring their authentic selves to work and reach their full potential. Provides a renewable four-year award of up to $5,000 per year for those planning a career in Actuarial Science.
Scholarship (Sponsored by F&G) is aimed at supporting underserved students with financial need. 'F' for 'fidelity' and 'G' for 'guaranty'. F&G strives to treat its coworkers with respect and to keep the promises to provide the support people need. Provides a renewable four-year award of up to $5,000 per year for those planning a career in Actuarial Science.
Merit-Based Scholarships (apply here)
Christy B. Olson Scholarship (Sponsored by Travelers) is designed to reward students for exemplary performance in math/analytics and to reward those who demonstrate a passion for pursuing a career in Actuarial Science. The $5,000 scholarship award is renewable annually for up to 5 years.
Scholarship (Sponsored by Wakely) The Wakely Consulting Group is a strong supporter of the actuarial profession serving on the Corporate Advisory Council for The Actuarial Foundation. Provides a renewable four-year award of up to $5,000 per year for those planning a career in Actuarial Science.
