Tellie Simpson recalled visiting the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC as a young child. The experience would pique Simpson’s interest in the museum world. She would grow up to earn an M.A. in Museum Studies and a B.A. in History from Morgan State University, and pursue a career working in the field. Now, Tellie Simpson is “telling” her unique experiences through her new book, “A Girl In A Museum World”. Simpson says through the book, she seeks to motivate kids to take charge of their history and follow their dreams.

Black Enterprise Founder Earl Graves Sr. is a Proud Son of Morgan State University
Earl Graves Sr. was a shining example of Black success and leadership and those traits were cultivated during his time at Morgan State University. The Brooklyn native and champion of Black businesses was part of the 1957 graduating class and left a lasting impact on the Historically Black College and University (HBCU), one that continues to this day.
