Your Record & Go Studio is a high-quality recording studio, featuring: professional quality lighting, studio-quality audio, and HD video, and presentation capture. The studio is available for faculty and their students and staff.  This studio is powered by Panopto! It makes creating top-quality multimedia productions simple and possible.

In-person Training

Faculty, staff and students who wish to use the Record and Go Studio must be trained. Please contact ATS, Devron Thornton, x2205 to arrange a training time. Group workshops will be announced on our ATS workshop Calendar.

Reservations

Faculty, staff, and students are welcome to use our studio for support of Morgan-related business -- such as training videos, course instructional videos, student assignments, student organization videos (with approval). In order to use the studio, you must have received training.  Student projects for specific coursework must be set up by your professor.  Please leave ample time for training and project completion.  You may use the Record & Go Studio by appointment. Please use the calendar below to see if the time you would like to use our studio is available. 

Here's how to make your training reservation

  1. View the reservation calendar to view appointment availability. Limited slots are available on a walk-in basis (but these are not guaranteed).
  2. Contact Academic Technology Services to schedule your hour-long appointment, or to request a demonstration:

Request Forms

  1. DVD Request:  Use this to request your DVD be uploaded to Panotpo for video streaming
  2. Student Record & Go Studio Request.  Also, read the Studio Procedure Guidelines 
  3. Record & Go Studio Contract
  4. Student Organization Request form  (Studio use is subject to approval from your faculty/staff advisor).  ATS will notify when approval from the adviser has been received.

 

Multimedia & Video Enhanced Education

Multiple studies reveal that multimedia & digital learning materials improve college students’ performance, leading to higher exam scores, better grades, and fewer class withdrawals, according to the Association of American Publishers (AAP). Students are also chiming in, saying they agree.
