Kanika Rankin serves as a Project Manager in the Office of Technology Transfer (OTT) within the Department of Research and Economic Development. In this role, she is an integral member of the R1 Team, the Well-3R Project, and the Science and Technology Capabilities and Skills (SATCAS) Project. She provides key support to the Director of Technology Transfer and the Senior Manager of Programs.

Kanika currently leads efforts to plan and implement the framework for the SATCAS database, while ensuring compliance across all OTT operations. Looking ahead, she will develop and design a SATCAS dashboard for integration into the OTT website.

Prior to joining Morgan, Kanika worked as an Oracle Developer and Project Analyst at the Social Security Administration. She previously served as an Administrative Assistant in the Office of Technology Transfer, where she began building her expertise in research administration and program support.

Kanika’s diverse background and experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments make her a valuable asset to the Office of Technology Transfer. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Software Development and Security from the University of Maryland and plans to pursue her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in the near future.
