SCMNS Honors Program

The Honors Program within the School of Computer, Mathematical and Natural Sciences (SCMNS) provides an extra level of challenge and enrichment for those students who are academically distinguished. Honors courses challenge the students to perform at the highest level of which they are capable and to enhance their critical thinking skills and their ability to learn and think independently. Additional Honors Program components assist in developing the students potential for leadership in their future vocations. Honors students are advised by the Honors Coordinator beginning their freshmen year. Strong personal relationships are formed in order to ensure the development of individualized expectations and goals. In addition to the specific SCMNS Honors courses, their studies are tailored to meet their personal interests and professional goals, and enhance their overall college experience.
