Built Environment Applied Research (BEAR) Lab
The Built Environment Applied Research (BEAR) Lab offers students at the School of Architecture and Planning opportunities to experiment with the latest technologies in the design and construction industries. Equipped with a wide range of traditional and digital fabrication tools, the BEAR Lab supports student projects and faculty research, making it an environment rich with creativity and innovation. The BEAR Lab maintains a lending library of handheld tools and other instruments, and its supply center stocks many of the materials students use to complete their coursework. Both undergraduate and graduate students from all programs in the School of Architecture and Planning have access to the BEAR Lab throughout their course of study.
