Biography:

Dr. Panthi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Construction Management where he also serves as the Graduate Program Director of Construction Management, and more recently, he has assumed the role of the Interim Director of PhD program in
Architecture, Urbanism and Built Environments (AUBE).

Dr. Panthi has accumulated over 20 years of combined experience in research, teaching and construction industry. His research interests span the areas of risk management, energy retrofitting, safety management, and innovative & sustainable construction materials. His research area is centered on risk analysis, including safety, of construction projects with an aim to quantify their impact. He has published over 40 articles in peer-reviewed conferences and journals and has submitted several research proposals both as a PI and a Co-PI to funding agencies and secured over $250,000 in grant award.

Dr. Panthi currently serves as an executive Board Member of Construction Management Associations of America (CMAA) - Baltimore Chapter as a Student Chapter Liaison. He is the Chair of the Graduate Curriculum Committee at Morgan State University. He serves as an editorial board member of the Journal of Built Environment Project and Asset Management, Emerald Group Publishing where he received an outstanding reviewer award in 2014.
