Microplastics in Eastern Oyster: Implications to Human Exposure and Public Health. PI, supported by NIH RCMI

This project will undertake the analysis of bioaccumulation of microplastics in the Eastern Oysters (Crassostrea virginica) to explore the microplastic properties (e.g., concentration, size, shape, and chemical composition) that influence microplastic exposure to humans and the potential public health risks.
