Faculty Information

Thank you for agreeing to teach during the Winter Session. To review policies and procedures for the Summer or Winter Session please refer to the Academic Catalog and the Faculty Handbook. Please be reminded that undergraduate courses with fewer than fifteen (15) enrolled students and graduate classes with fewer than six (6) students are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment. Such cancellations will take place before the end of the add/drop period. If such underenrolled courses are not cancelled, pay will be pro-rated according to the Pilot Pay Scale. In cases of underenrollment, the enrollment at the time grades are due is the official enrollment.

Winter Session 2026

• • Registration Opens - Monday, October 27, 2025
  • Classes Begin - Monday, January 5, 2026
  • Last Day to Add or Drop a Course (End of Schedule Adjustment Period) - Tuesday, January 6, 2026 (5:00 PM deadline)
    [To avoid being billed for a course, you must drop it by 5PM on January 6, 2026.]
  • Drop for Non-Payment - Thursday, January 8, 2026
  •  The Office of Summer/Winter Session will not authorize reinstatements  in Winter 2026 due to the shortness of the term. Therefore, you should ensure your bill is settled in full by self-paying or through  the disbursement of aid prior to the start of the term.
  • Last Day to Withdraw from an Individual Class with a Grade of "W" - Monday, January 12, 2026 (11:59 PM deadline) [When you withdraw with a "W," tuition and fees will still apply!]
  • Last Day of Classes - Tuesday, January 20, 2026
  • Last Day to Withdraw from Morgan for the Term - Tuesday, January 20, 2026
  • Grades Are Due -  Tuesday, January 20, 2026 (5:00 PM)
  • Faculty pay date - February 18, 2026 (Payment is typically made by check. Please contact HR to ensure your address is correct on the Contractual Payroll List.)
