Order Up! Robots Delivering Food on Morgan State University Campus
Robots are strolling the campus of Morgan State University alongside students. The robots are equipped to deliver meal orders to students and staff members. So, not only do students and staff get to pick what they eat, they can also decide how the food is delivered.
Black Colleges Can't Do It All
In 2019, Dr. Willie Rockward landed at Morgan State University, an HBCU in Baltimore. One big attraction was the chance to replicate his success at Morehouse on a larger scale. “[Morgan State] had a strong record in the 1980s for graduating African Americans before things started to slide, and they were interested in reviving that tradition,” he says.
Race on Campus: A More Equitable Admissions Test
Dr. Carrol Perrino , a psychology professor at Morgan State University, is overseeing the development of a noncognitive assessment to predict which students will succeed and graduate at an HBCU, and what resources they may need to stay on track.
