Emma Minnis is the Senior Admissions Advisor for the College of Interdisciplinary and Continuing Studies. Emma earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in History, undergraduate certificate Women’s Studies, and minor in Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park. She is enrolled in the Master of Arts in Higher Education & Student Affairs Administration program at Morgan State University. Emma is dedicated to helping students navigate the admissions process and achieve their academic goals. She understands the unique challenges faced by adult learners, including balancing work and family obligations, and provides personalized support to help them succeed. The most rewarding part of Emma’s role in CICS is implementing educational technologies to optimize the student experience from the application stage to graduation. She hopes to continue exploring new technologies with the goal of improving adult learners’ experiences and access to higher education.
