Army Ignited Federal Tuition Assistance

If you are a soldier in the Army and wish to utilize Federal Tuition Assistance to fund your courses, you will need to complete your Evaluated Degree Plan (EDP) with your MSU Academic Advisor before starting the process. Once you have your Evaluated Degree Plan (EDP) in hand, you can log into your Army Ignited portal profile and submit a Tuition Assistance Request (TAR). Once your TAR is approved, upload a copy of your TAR award letter into the Enrollment Information Update Form.

Federal Tuition Assistance

If you are a soldier in the Air Force, AirGuard, Navy, Coast Guard, or a Marine and wish to utilize Federal Tuition Assistance for an upcoming term go to your branch-specific FTA portals and submit your requests for the applicable term.  All approved FTA award letters should be uploaded into the Military Funding Request Form at least 15 business days prior to the start of the term being requested. Thereafter, you can upload any approved requests into the Enrollment Information Update Form located on our VES Online Forms page.
