Alexa Morris currently serves as the Senior Manager of Programs in the Office of Technology Transfer. In this role, she oversees the marketing initiatives of the office, including branding, internal and external communications, and OTT web entities including the website and social channels. Alexa also serves as the office liaison for OTT's In-Reach Programs, including programs within the Innovation Works Initiative, and events, such as the Innovation of the Year Awards.

Prior to joining Morgan, Alexa served as a Marketing Specialist for Walden University where she managed student communications, performed competitive analyses, and developed communication strategies for university events. She previously worked for Intel as a part of their Sales and Marketing Rotation program which allowed her to gain experience in both consumer and enterprise marketing, managing social campaigns, events, and developing strategic plans for new product launches.

Alexa has also supported a diverse group of clients as a Marketing Communications Consultant, planning and implementing digital media campaigns to increase audience engagement and participation. Additional responsibilities included: creating and deploying digital media collateral for promotional events and campaigns, as well as managing and producing copy for digital and social media platforms. Alexa earned her Master of Arts in Communication from Johns Hopkins University, and her Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from Howard University's School of Business.

Her understanding of how to effectively communicate with target audiences to increase engagement and participation is a benefit to the Office of Technology Transfer and the greater Morgan community.
