Center for Career Development: The Center for Career Development is available to assist with all aspects of career planning- including self-assessment, career exploration, gaining real-world experience via internships, job search assistance, and graduate school planning. Together, they can make your "dream" job a reality.
Counseling Center: Graduate students face a number of demands that might potentially impact their mental health and well-being. The Morgan State University Counseling Center offers graduate students the same range of resources available to undergraduate students, including individual counseling, couples counseling, group counseling, and psychiatric referrals. Food Resource Center: The Food Resource Center (FRC) aims to educate our Morgan State University family on healthy strategies and methods such as couponing, food prep, nutititional value and proper food selection. Ultimately, focusing on the overall well-being of the individual through healthy eating habits and health promotion. The FRC's vision is to create and sustain an environment of healthy eating and overall well-being that contributes to student success beyond the classroom. Additionally, the FRC's mission is to progressively work to relieve Morgan State University students of hunger and food insecurity through free food collection and distribution. The FRC has formed strong partnerships, internally and externally, to provide resources to our students to demonostrates and reinforce we are a community that cares; while operating with integrity, compassion, empathy, and confidentiality to support the various needs of our students.
ForagerOne: ForagerOne is a central hub for members across Morgan State University to discover and connect for collaborative partnerships. ForagerOne provides a scalable digital infrastructure to dissolve silos and connect students, faculty researchers, and staff across Morgan State based on shared and complementary interests to fuel collaboration. ForagerOne provides a streamlined workflow and levels the playing field for everyone.
Finding ideal mentors
Students can search a comprehensive database of faculty researchers engaged in work that is highly relevant to their interests, bringing forth faculty they may not have found or considered otherwise.
Guided application workflow
ForagerOne helps students put their best foot forward when applying to faculty through our guided process, ensuring faculty receive high-quality requests providing the information they need.
Internal and external opportunities
In addition to sourcing students who may be strong candidates for grants and fellowships, administrators can curate a list of external opportunities on ForagerOne for users to browse.
Off-Campus Housing Services: The Morgan State University Office of Residence Life & Housing provides off campus housing information to members of the MSU community looking for a place to live near our campus. They are available to help students who do not reside in University-managed on-campus housing make well-informed decisions that enable them to enjoy a positive off-campus living experience.
Research Security Training Requirement: Graduate students working on federally funded extramural research awards are required to complete Research Security training offered through the CITI Program. This training covers key areas, including cybersecurity, export controls, conflicts of interest, and foreign travel considerations to ensure compliance with federal requirements.

ScholarshipUniverse: ScholarshipUniversity (SU) is an online scholarship platform that matches students to relevant, vetted external scholarship opportunities, as well as internal scholarships offered by the university. SU is available for admitted prospective students and currently enrolled Morgan State University students. To sign into SU, you must use your MSU login credentials.
Software Resources for Graduate Students: The Division of Information Technology (DIT) is responsible for the development, implementation, and delivery of IT services that enable the strategic goals of Morgan State University. Technology FAQs for new graduate students can be found here.
University Writing Center: The mission of the Morgan State University Writing Center is to support undergraduate and graduate students from all academic disciplines to become more effective and confident writers and communicators. The Morgan State University Writing Center provides a wide variety of services to all members of the MSU community. Their tutors are trained to give you individualized attention regarding any type of writing assignment. Typical tutoring sessions may help you with one or more of the following:
- Understanding assignment prompts
- Identifying and addressing the needs of your audience
- Developing and organizing
- Finding good sources and avoiding plagiarism
- Revising your writing
