Academic Advisors

Your academic advisor's contact information is listed on Degree Works audit and in Starfish. You MUST meet with your assigned academic advisor BEFORE registering for classes. To schedule an appointment with your advisor you can either email them or make an appointment via Starfish (if applicable).

This is STEP 3 in the SCMNS advising process.

Here is a sample email you can use to email your advisor:

Dear Dr. [Instructor's Name], 

My name is [Your Name], and my Student ID number is [Your eight digit Student ID]. I would like to request an advising meeting to discuss [Semester and year] registration. Could you please let me know your availability? 

Thank you, 

[Your Name]
