Biographical Sketch:

A Washington, D.C. native, Robyn knew at the age of seven, that she wanted to be an attorney. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Morgan State University, and her juris doctor at the University of Baltimore, School of Law. Robyn served as a summer law clerk for the Honorable Roger W. Brown of the Baltimore City Circuit Court.

Understanding early on that her true purpose is to “serve and assist others in living their best life”, Robyn has dedicated her life to supporting others in being their best. At age of 14, Robyn worked at a nursing home catering to mentally disabled seniors for over 4 years. She quickly learned that her passion was working with the elderly, disabled and those that needed help with amplifying their voice. In this spirit, prior to law school, she worked as Community Director for the Honorable H.R. Crawford with the District of Columbia Council; Public Information Officer for the District of Columbia Office on Aging; and a Behavior Guidance Counselor with the Baltimore City Public School System.

Before starting her full-time practice, and while still in law school, Robyn served as Executive Director of the Maryland Legal Services Program, Maryland Department of Human Resources where she ensured the legal representation of the State’s abused and neglected youth and the representation of vulnerable adults in guardianship cases throughout the State. She also served as the Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Diversity Officer and Corporate Governance Officer for several national nonprofits that cater to youth.

Robyn is an adjunct professor at the University of Baltimore, teaching ethics courses and at Morgan State University teaching business law courses and courses in political science. She serves as board members of the following boards: University of Baltimore Hoffberger Center on ethics; Ethics Commission of Howard County, MD; Mobile Shoebox; Proud 1, Inc. and the Consumer Protection committee of Howard County, MD.
Since starting her law firm, Robyn has been called to handle some of the most complex estate matters in Maryland. In hopes to make this process less difficult for families, Roby founded a radio program and speaking series called, “What is Your Love Legacy?” The program encourages families to be intentional about their estate planning needs so they can leave a legacy of “love and order”.
