Program Information & Requirements

Program recipients:

• Receive a $3,000 scholarship
• Conduct an original research or creative project under the guidance of a graduate school mentor
• Attend weekly programming on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
• Commit to spending 20 hours/week on the program
• Present their work at the SRI Symposium on July 31st.
• Present their work at the MSU Annual Undergraduate and Graduate Research Symposium in April 2026.

Please note: Because of the extensive time needed to particpate in this program, you cannot participate in two internships at one time. Outside employment must be limited to times outside of the program hours.
