CreativeEdge Mini-Grants: Where Innovation Meets Opportunity
The CreativeEdge Mini-Grants program offers $1,500 awards to undergraduate students at any stage—whether a Research Rookie, Apprentice, or Ambassador—to support faculty-mentored projects in research or creative inquiry.
Whether you're choreographing a dance piece, writing a social justice zine, building a prototype, or conducting lab-based experiments, CreativeEdge empowers students to pursue bold, interdisciplinary, and expressive work that pushes boundaries and explores meaningful questions.
💡 What’s Funded?
- Original research
- Creative works (visual art, performance, media, design)
- Community-based inquiry
- Interdisciplinary exploration
👩🏫 Mentorship Required:
All projects must be guided by a faculty mentor who will support the student’s development, process, and outcomes.
📅 Eligibility:
Open to all currently enrolled undergraduates at Morgan State University in any major.
Application Deadline: September 26, 2025
Tentative Award Date: October 10, 2025
Implementation period: October 13, 2025 – April 30, 2026
Final Project Report Due Date: May 7, 2026
