Mentorship

Mentoring relationships can yield professional and personal benefits. In an ideal, positive mentoring relationship, mentees are empowered to bring questions, concerns, or problems to someone who listens, supports, informs, and receives sympathy without judgment, criticism, or comparison. The Office of Undergraduate Research is not only committed to connecting students to knowledgeable and culturally competent research mentors, but also in matching students with diverse graduate students and postdocs who will offer academic and career advice.
