Lucy Manyara is one of the Budget Officers in the Office of Research Administration (ORA) at Morgan State University (MSU). Ms. Manyara joined the ORA in October 2020. She has 12 years of grant management experience from her prior role as Budget Officer in the School of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences, where she had oversight on grants, among her other responsibilities.

She reviews budgets and requisitions to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and university guidelines and processes them. She identifies and makes recommendations for process improvement for efficiency, while upholding internal controls.
