Honors College Scholarships

It is the official stance of the Honors College that enrollment in the CIA-Honors College does NOT guarantee that a student will receive an Honors Scholarship.

The following are a list of scholarships that are currently offered by the Clara I. Adams Honors College. The requirements and terms of each currently available scholarship are listed below:

The Martin D. Jenkins Scholarship awards up to the full amount of tuition, fees, approved on-campus room and board, and up to $500/semester for books, for up to four years consecutively. Students must maintain a 3.6/4.0 cumulative grade point average in addition to all other requirements set forth by the honors college. This scholarship is considered for Incoming Freshman applicants only. 

The Honors Associate Scholarship awards up to $2000/year for up to 4 years consecutively. Applied in addition to any other scholarships or grants a student may be receiving from the University or from other sources, up to the student's MSU cost of attendance budget. Students must maintain a 3.4 cumulative grade point average in addition to all other requirements set forth by the honors college. This scholarship is considered for Incoming Freshman applicants only. 

Clara I. Adams Scholarship: The Clara I. Adams Scholarship awards up to $8,000/year for up to three years consecutively.  Students must maintain the Honors College minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.4 in addition to all other requirements set forth by the Honors College. This scholarship is considered for Continuing Applicants only. This scholarship is dependent on availability of funds.
