Education:

B.A. in Economics and Mathematics, Colgate University, 1988
M.A. in Economics, Northwestern University, 1990
Ph.D. in Economics, Northwestern University, 1994

Dr. Reed has held academic positions at the University of Montreal (1993-1998) and Morgan State University (1999-present). He has taught undergraduate and graduate economics as well as transportation for over 20 years. He has served as Graduate Coordinator and Acting Chair in the Department of Economics in addition to teaching.

Dr. Reed has published in highly ranked field journals in Industrial Organization and Strategic Management including the Journal of Law and Economics and Strategic Management Journal. His current research is focused primarily on practical empirical techniques that allow a better understanding of relationships in data at the end user level.
