CAP is a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity in Cyber Defense Education (NCAE-C). The mission of the CAP academic programs is to develop a cadre of professionals trained in cyber defense-related fields and to address the urgent national need for additional expertise. Morgan has a commitment to the development of academic programs in support of a Cyber Security Center of Excellence. Certificate options are being developed for the Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Information Science and Systems Departments. Within the Electrical Engineering program, there are three options, based on the academic level, a student can take a pathway to cybersecurity learning. These programs comply with NCAE-C certification standards. Our programs are also accredited at the regional and state levels.
