CAP is a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity in Cyber Defense Education (NCAE-C). Through workforce development, the mission of the CAP Center is to create a cadre of professionals trained in cyber defense-related fields. We aim to address the urgent national need for additional expertise. We are amongst the best in cybersecurity supporting the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering as they commit to developing academic programs in alignment with the center's mission and vision. Certificate options are being developed for the Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Information Science and Systems Departments. Within the Electrical Engineering program, there are three options (based on the academic level) a student can take in pursuit of cybersecurity learning. These programs comply with NCAE-C certification standards. Our cybersecurity programs are also accredited at the regional and state levels.
