Welcome to the Cybersecurity Assurance & Policy (CAP) Center

It is my great pleasure to extend a warm welcome to all of you who share our commitment to advancing cybersecurity through applied research, lifelong education, and strategic partnerships.

Our Center was founded on the principle that securing our nation’s cyber-physical infrastructures is not merely a technical challenge, but a vital societal imperative. Today, as threats continue to evolve in reach, complexity, and scale, the research we do in the CAP Center has never been more critical.

I am deeply proud of the groundbreaking research conducted by our team—from exploiting vulnerabilities in embedded systems to developing energy-efficient system-on-chip (SoC) designs that are both secure and resistant to side-channel and fault-injection attacks. This work not only contributes to the academic body of knowledge but also has a significant impact on society across academic, industry, and government domains.

Looking ahead, I am energized by the prospect of the future. We are actively expanding our collaborative networks, delivering innovative cybersecurity solutions, and fostering the next generation of cybersecurity engineers.
