Dr. Vinton Morris received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, both in Information Systems. He also received his Ph.D. degree in Secure Embedded Systems from Morgan State University. His research interests include network security, software-defined networking, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. His current research focuses on zero-trust architectures and using zero-trust principles to secure critical IT infrastructure, primarily resource-constrained IoT devices. Dr. Morris serves as the IT Manager for the Cybersecurity Assurance and Policy (CAP) Center. He is responsible for both the architecture and secure operation of the CAP Center IT infrastructure.
