Morgan State University: Supporting the Next Generation of Diverse Researchers
The need for greater diversity and representation in biomedical/biobehavioral research is well documented. To meet this need, it is critical that we support historically marginalized students in attaining science majors and help them pursue postgraduate training and professional careers in science.

As the scientific world continues to address the complexities of climate change and its connection to humanity, the National Science Foundation (awarded a nearly $3 million grant to Morgan State University to establish an NSF Research Traineeship program in Artificial Intelligence for Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability (ACCESS).
Morgan State Receives $3M Grant to Research Climate Change, Infectious Diseases
Morgan State University has received a $3 million National Science Foundation grant that it plans to use to train future scientists. The federal dollars have been earmarked to help support research at the school related to climate change. Research is already taking place on the first floor of Spencer Hall.
