Academic Programs

The Morgan Industrial Hemp Program will include the development of academic training programs on several levels: bachelor, master and certification programs. The interdisciplinary program includes a bachelor's program in Medicinal Plant Science with concentrations in the areas of Medicinal Plant Science, Chemical Analysis, Nutrition, and Entrepreneurship, a master's program in Medicinal Plant Science, and a certificate program in Hemp and Cannabis.

These academic programs will be a collaborative interdisciplinary program with the School of Business (Entrepreneurship), School of Community Health and Public Policy (Nutritional Science), School of Education (Family Consumer Science) and the School of Computer, Mathematical and Natural Sciences (Chemistry and Biology).

The measurement Laboratory and the green house, both in Dixon Research Center, are available for use to train students on cannabis analysis and plant science.
