Nsani is a psychometrics doctoral student who works in research at the Center for Predictive Analytics where he specializes in the measurement of
cognitive processes within academic and high-stakes environments. His research focuses on the application of advanced measurement models such as Item Response Theory (IRT) and Rasch Analysis in assessing cognitive engagement, academic grit and psychological constructs related to fast mode and speed learning.  His work also extends into disaster and emergency research in examining how people perceive risk, preparing psychologically for emergencies and taking protective actions under pressure.
