Anjali Gulati
Anjali Gulati is a Research Associate on the Blue Core team. Anjali is a graduate of Morgan State University (B.S. Economics ‘21) & Georgetown University (M.A. Political Economy ‘22). During undergrad in Baltimore City, Anjali was involved in campus engagement and community service through Females United to Uplift, Reshape & Educate (F.U.T.U.R.E.) (President ‘19-‘20), and got her start in environmental economics as summer intern, then research technician at MSU PEARL (‘20-‘21). Anjali has been involved in community organizing around climate change since 2020, advocating for environmental justice legislation with Climate XChange MD in 2019-2022, then joining Interfaith Power & Light (DC.MD.NoVA) in 2023 where she currently serves part-time working with congregations across the region to respond to climate change. Research interests include developing climate resilience infrastructure in flood-prone coastal communities areas and improving equitable access to outdoor recreation.
