Addressing the Threat to Our National Treasure
Since sending out an alert earlier this morning about the bomb threat we received, a few of you have contacted me to inquire as to whether this is real. Unfortunately, and sadly, it is. The campus is being searched building-by-building this morning with our residential halls being searched first.

College enrollment is dropping across the United States, but that doesn't mean every campus is shrinking. Take Morgan State University. The historically Black school reported its fall 2021 freshman class was nearly two-thirds larger than its freshman class in fall 2020.

Morgan State University (MSU) Baltimore, USA has released a 10-year strategic plan with a specific target on global education and international footprint. The university’s executive director, Office of Global Partnerships-Africa. Prof. Hakeem Ibikunle Tijani, noted that the centerpiece of Global education and international footprint is centred on Africa.

Over the past 10 years, Morgan State University has been pushing itself to become one of Maryland’s top universities, and one of the top historically Black colleges and universities in America.
Three HBCU Professors Elected To Prestigious Science Organization
Three HBCU professors are among the newly announced class of 564 scientists, engineers and other innovators elected as Fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the world’s largest general scientific society, publisher of the Science family of research journals and one of the most prestigious general scientific organizations in the world. Morgan Professor Christine Hohmann was recognized as an AAAS Fellow due to her work in neuroscience and for her commitment to diversity in STEM.
