Harbor Bank Chooses Juneteenth to Open New Branch at Northwood Commons

Harbor Bank chose the Juneteenth commemoration to mark the opening of its new branch in Northwood Commons to show the progress from history. Until the 1960s, Black people were banned from the old Northwood Shopping Center. Morgan President David Wilson spoke at the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Although Howard doesn’t have an engineering degree, his love for science and discovery led him to discuss various topics at the Morgan State University Institute of Urban Research event for the “Day of Conversation w/Terrence Dashon Howard” on Saturday.
