“Someday Is Now”: How Barbara A. Robinson Returned to Morgan State at 84 to Complete Her Doctoral Dream

Barbara Robinson’s journey is a living testament to purpose, perseverance, and the belief that it is never too late to learn, lead, and leave a legacy. First enrolling at Morgan State College in 1957, Barbara returned to the University more than six decades later through the College of Interdisciplinary and Continuing Studies (CICS), driven by a calling to continue serving future generations. Now pursuing her Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Organizational Policy, Governance, and Administration, Barbara’s story reflects the heart of CICS, supporting adult learners at every stage of life with flexibility, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to student success.
