Buttigieg visits Morgan State University
U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg toured one of Morgan State University’s trailblazing research facilities Wednesday. During his visit, which also included a town hall in the school’s Center for the Built Environment and Infrastructure Studies, Buttigieg tested, among other things, Maryland’s only driving simulator that took him from I-95 to the Baltimore Convention Center. The program is being used to study things such as reaction times and human-computer interaction.

U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg visited Morgan State University in Baltimore to see the work that his department funded for environmental and infrastructure studies.Buttigieg was in Baltimore to highlight the president's investments in infrastructure. He spent time with students and saw a government-funding lab in action.

Morgan State Launches Think Tank on Black Soccer Culture and History
Morgan State University's School of Global Journalism and Communication has launched Black SoccerLab, a think tank that focuses on soccer in Black America and the African diaspora. The initiative will concentrate on research, media programming and service that will share narratives of the Black soccer community and showcase its development globally. The lab, which will operate from the Maryland school’s Center for the Study of Race and Culture in Sports, will highlight stories, issues, and history related to the sport.
