New Medical School Proposed at Morgan State, First One at HBCU School in 45 Years
For the first time in 45 years, a new medical school at a historically Black college or university is opening and it's proposed at Morgan State. The university will partner with Ascension St. Agnes Hospital to launch a for-profit, private medical school aimed to open in 2024.

State Approves Lease for New Medical School at Morgan State University
Morgan State University is set to sign an estimated 35-year lease for a new osteopathic medical school that could net the university over $20 million in rent. The prospective lease with an initial price of $425,000 annually was approved by the Maryland Board of Public Works.
