Celebrating National IT Professionals Day at Morgan

Each September, we celebrate National IT Professionals Day; a moment to recognize the hard work, dedication, and innovation of the individuals who keep technology running smoothly across our campus. This year, National IT Professionals Day falls on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, and it’s an opportunity to reflect on the essential role our IT staff play in supporting Morgan’s mission.

From ensuring reliable network connectivity and maintaining classroom technology, to safeguarding data security and supporting our faculty, staff, and students, IT professionals are at the heart of every digital interaction at the University. Their efforts often take place behind the scenes, but their impact is felt daily in classrooms, offices, labs, and virtual spaces.
