Morgan State University is embarking on a nationwide search for its next Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer (VPIT/CIO) to spearhead our information technology transformation journey. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our technological landscape, driving innovation, and enhancing the overall academic and research experience for our students, faculty, and staff. Tentative Timeline

April 2024: The search committee convened its first meeting in early April to discuss the timeline and process.

Mid-April - May 2024: Application window for candidates to submit resume/CV for consideration through Academic Search, LLC.

May 2024: The search committee will identify top candidates, at the end of May, to invite for interviews.

June 2024: Interviews begin in June and continue until the finalist candidate is identified.

July 2024: The selected candidate is announced by university President Wilson.
