Melvin Howard serves as the Financial and Administrative Analyst for the College of Interdisciplinary and Continuing Studies at Morgan State University. He brings extensive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and operations from both higher education and institutional asset management. Melvin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Project Management with Agile certification.
Melvin has a passion for using data and financial insight to support student-centered, mission-driven work. He believes that when resources are aligned with strategy, institutions can better serve learners, families, and communities. He enjoys partnering with colleagues, faculty, and external stakeholders to solve problems, improve processes, and strengthen programs. His goal is to provide clear, reliable financial guidance that helps CICS grow, innovate, and create meaningful opportunities for students.
