From Weather to Hive: Exploring Climate Impacts on Baltimore's Bee Communities
Members of Morgan State’s Climate Science Division, hosted a community event at the Piedmont Learning Center bringing together Baltimore Social Environmental Collaborative (BSEC) program partners, beekeepers, and local organizations. Through hands-on demonstrations and discussion, participants explored how changing weather patterns are impacting bee health and honey production, while building connections across stakeholder groups and sharing practical strategies to support pollinators.
Climate Science Division Researchers Explore Maryland's Billy Goat Trail
Researchers from Morgan State University's Climate Science Division joined Dr. Xiaowen Li for a team bonding outing along Maryland's Billy Goat Trail. The hike provided an opportunity for students and researchers to connect outside of the lab, enjoy the natural scenery, and strengthen relationships through a shared outdoor experience.
