Dr. Damoah and Dr. Emelia Asamoah visit The Latin American Technical University (UTLA) in El Salvador to initiate a joint project. They were also awarded the status of International Research Associates at UTLA by the president of the institution.

Dr. Damoah from Morgan State University led COESSING participants to assess the air quality at a dump site in Ghana using his air quality drone, and climate monitoring using weather balloon during COESSING 2025.  COESSING is Coastal Ocean Environment Summer School In Nigeria and Ghana.+

The Climate Science Division welcome four undergraduate student and one high school teacher as a part of The Center for Equitable AI and Machine Learning Systems (CEAMLS) - Summer AI Research Institute. They will work with Dr. Xiaowen Li on retrieval of aerosols through satellite images with machine learning and AI from May till August 2025.
