Morgan State University's Patuxent Environmental & Aquatic Research Laboratory (PEARL) and Climate Science Division are launching a new undergraduate major in Coastal Science and Policy starting 2024.

Coastal Science and Policy

Coastal region bears some of the biggest climate consequences, in addition to impact from increasing development and human exploitation. Coastal Science and Policy Degree at Morgan State University prepares the students for tackling these challenges from both the scientific and policy aspects. This is a joint degree program with the Patuxent Environmental & Aquatic Research Laboratory (PEARL) whose mission is to provide our society with the knowledge to solve its environmental challenges through research, education, and economic development.

Bioenvironmental Sciences

Climate Science Division awards PhD degrees in Bioenvironmental Sciences under the School of Computer, Mathematics & Natural Sciences. Students work on real-world climate challenges funded by federal agencies. All admitted PhD students in Climate Science Division will have full-time tuition support and competitive 12-month stipend.
