Dr. Adekunle Adejumo is a results-driven public health professional and higher education leader currently serving as Assistant Director at Morgan State University’s Center for Continuing and Professional Studies (CCPS). In this role, he provides strategic oversight for the development and implementation of continuing and professional education programs, working closely with the Executive Director to advance innovative, high-impact learning opportunities for adult learners, professionals, and community partners.

As Assistant Director, Dr. Adejumo leads cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to design and deliver high-quality courses, workshops, and training programs eligible for Continuing Education Units (CEUs). He ensures that all programming is outcomes driven, aligned with workforce needs, and compliant with accreditation and CEU standards. In addition, he oversees key initiatives such as the Improved Opportunities for Parents (IOP) program and the Beryl Williams Scholarship program, expanding access to education and supporting learner success among diverse and underserved populations.

Dr. Adejumo brings extensive experience across the full lifecycle of program development, including needs assessment, instructional design, implementation, monitoring, and impact evaluation. His work is grounded in a strong commitment to advancing educational access, workforce readiness, and community empowerment through innovative continuing education and training initiatives.

With a diverse academic and professional background in veterinary medicine and public health, Dr. Adejumo brings a global, interdisciplinary perspective to his work. He has a strong track record of developing training programs that uplift vulnerable populations, including refugees, orphans, and individuals impacted by the criminal justice system. His work often centers on addressing the social determinants of health and education through equitable, community-based solutions.

Dr. Adejumo holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and a Master of Public Health (MPH), and is recognized for his analytical acumen, cross-sector collaboration, and commitment to educational equity. At CCPS, he plays a critical role in continuing education initiatives, supporting curriculum development, stakeholder engagement, CEU compliance, and data-driven program evaluation. Known for his technical expertise and collaborative leadership, Dr. Adejumo contributes meaningfully to Morgan State’s mission to empower lifelong learners and strengthen communities through accessible, high-quality continuing and professional education.
