Presentation/Workshop Request

The Center for Career Development (CCD) partners with faculty, student organizations, and campus departments to fulfill presentation/workshop requests each semester.
Please note the Center strives to fulfill all requests. However, a submission does not guarantee your request will be approved. All submissions are reviewed based upon topic, staffing availability, and existing CCD programming.

All requests should be submitted at least two weeks in advance and occur between 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Minimum of 10 attendees for evening workshops
Workshop requests may be limited to two workshops per organization/course section per semester

Workshop/Presentation Topics:

GPA: Goals, Plan, Actions (40 min - 60 min)
Internships: The Importance/ Making the Most of it (30 mins)
Interviewing (45 min)
Job Fair Preparation & Researching Employers (30 min - 45 min)
Job Search (40 min - 60 min)
Major Exploration & Learning what you can do with your major
Networking & Social Media (30 min - 45 min)
Overview of Career Services (15 min - 20 min)
Resume Writing & Cover Letters (30 min - 75 min) **A Computer Lab is Recommended**
