Career Closet: Dress for Success
Need professional attire but facing financial barriers? The Career Closet provides free professional clothing to current Morgan State students who need assistance preparing for interviews, career fairs, internships, networking events, conferences, and other career-related opportunities. Our goal is to ensure that every student has the confidence to make a strong first impression.

Need a quiet, professional space for a virtual interview? Reserve one of our private interview rooms, equipped with a computer, monitor, and webcam.
Before You Reserve:
Please include the employer's name and the date and time of your interview when submitting your request. Requests must be submitted at least 48 hours in advance.
Resume & Cover Letter Review*
Get personalized feedback to strengthen your resume and/or cover letter. We'll help you tailor your documents to a specific job or internship, highlight your skills and experiences, and improve the overall content and format so you can make a stronger impression on employers.
Before Your Appointment: Upload your resume and/or cover letter to Handshake before your scheduled appointment. If you're creating your documents from scratch, visit our Resume Resources for templates, examples, and tips prior to your scheduled meeting.
Salary & Offer Negotiation
Don't leave money on the table! Learn how to confidently evaluate and negotiate your salary, benefits, and other terms of employment. This session builds confidence and provides strategies for advocating for yourself professionally.
